Which diesel is best for short journeys?

I'm looking at buying/leasing a new crossover. I play drums in a band so a small car is not an option. I work from home four days a week and drive a short urban journey once a week. Overall I cover 80 miles, but occasionally travel further. Can you tell me which car would be best? I’d like a diesel, but am worried about DPF problems.

No diesel likes repeated short runs of less than six miles, but a Honda CX-5 Skyactiv should be better than the others because it heats up its DPF faster.
