Volkswagen Golf won't start - what's the fault?

I'm having problems with my 2004 Volkswagen Golf. It starts fine from cold, but refuses to fire up when warm. I’ve checked the starter motor and glow plugs, but no joy. I thinking of doing a hot start PD map, would you recommend this?

Well given that you have checked all air/vacuum pipes, also fuel lines/Filter,we would then suggest that you may be best to have a diagnostic check carried out, this should then show up a fault code (i.e P ---- 4 numbers).

Other than that you may want to check out the ECT (engine coolant temp sensor) and if okay the injectors.
