Turbo problems

I have a 2007 Ford Focus. The car suffered with injector problems and I fitted a new turbo and all the trimmings as advised by my local mechanic, but now, after three days, I am getting system faults and a loss of power. Could this be the same injector problem?

Did you carry out a fault diagnostic check in the first instance, and if so did the fault code indicate the turbo?

The reason for decreased power is that the engine management system (ECU) is sending the engine into limp mode to protect it. The reason for this could be many from the MAF (mass air flow sensor) to the ECT (engine coolant temp sensor).

It could also be a fuel related issue (such as the filter/pump) or as you suggest the injectors. It may be best to have a diagnostic carried out before any further replacements.
