I think I've bought a 'clocked' car - what should I do?

I purchased car on 28/10/09 for £6999 from a trader. Since then I have found out that the car has done 117,000 miles, dated 24/6/09. When I got it, it read 30,000 and now done 35,000. It came with a full service history, but when I phoned the garage this didn't check out as they had never had this car for service in the past. It's also had new wing and front bumper in its time. Just want to know where I stand with this car.

Sounds like you need to get in touch with Trading Standards as soon as possible. Details of where you stand can be found here: www.honestjohn.co.uk/faq/consumer-rights Good luck.
