Buying a small 4x4/SUV

I am starting to think about changing my Hyundai ix35 4x4 which has been a great car, but is now a little large for my needs. I like the high driving position, occasional use of 4x4 and built in sat nav.

I've narrowed down the choice to the Skoda Yeti and Dacia Duster, which would you recommend?

If you don't need 4WD, add a Renault Captur to your list because it's very bright and cheerful. The 2008 model can be fitted with Grip Control that makes it better in slippery conditions. The Duster is the cheap alternative while the Yeti 1.8TSI 4WD is the sports car of all of these. It is huge fun to drive and certainly worth considering.
