Peugeot antipollution light problem?

I have a second hand 307 Peugeot which I bought last year June. Last week I let the fuel level run very low and due to this the "Antipollution fault" light came on; and caused the car to jerk. The warning light was still even after filling it to full capacity with fuel.

When I decided to take to the garage this Saturday, the warning light did not come on and therefore I decided not to take it to the garage. Should there be need for me to worry that the warning light might come on? Have been driving with my fingers crossed since then!

Could be that the Eolys fluid reservoir for the DPF is getting low. You need to take the car to a Peugeot dealer or a specialist to get this checked and topped up as necessary.
