Honda Jazz has an uncomfortable seat?

I bought a new Honda Jazz at the end of March and find the driver's seat is very uncomfortable - lower back & leg pains and quite different to the seat in the test car I tried out.

I've tried various cushions including one made to measure of memory foam with no success. The salesman tells me it 'will give' after about 2-3k miles (so far 888 on the clock) but has directed me to a specialist firm who supply equipment for the disabled, which I am not.

Have you any experience of similar problems and (helpful!) suggestions.

Sensible salesman. But you may not be adjusting the seat correctly. The backrest should be slightly reclined to concentrate the weight of your thorax into the seatback rather than into the bas of your spine. This also gets your face further away from the steering wheel airbag.
