Stop/start sometimes does't work on my Focus Ecoboost?

I have a Focus Ecoboost and the start/stop system sometimes fails to work. It can be instantly made to work again by switching the ignition and back on. Any thoughts?

Probably because the turbo is too hot and a heat sensor prevents the engine switching off in order to preserve the turbo bearing from damage. Though water cooled, the turbo does get very hot because hauling the Focus body is a lot of work for a 1.0-litre engine.
