The ESP warning light is illuminated on my Octavia vRS - will Skoda fix it?

I have a 2006 Skoda Octavia vRS. I have read that a lot of people are having the same problem as myself that the ESP light is on. Has Skoda accepted this as a fault and is it willing to fix it?

Volkswagen is now taking this on the nose for fully dealer-serviced cars back to 2004, so SEAT and Skoda should be too. If they try it on, www.sinspeed.co.uk does a fix for £225 but you have to get the ABS/ESP module to them and then have it refitted to the car afterwards.
