Which automatic car should I consider to replace my Rover 75?

I am still very fond of my Rover 75 after 105,000 miles. I looked to the MG6 as a replacement but it is not available as an automatic. What would you recommend? I would prefer petrol and front wheel drive.

Currently, the best automatic in that class is the Toyota Avensis 1.8i Valvematic Multidrive S saloon or SW, and it just happens to be built in Britain.
