Why isn't Honda promoting its new Civic yet?

I am considering purchasing a new Honda Civic. Although reports of the new Civic appear to be favourable Honda does not yet seem to be promoting its new model in this country. I am worried that technical problems may have emerged or that Honda is having production difficulties. Any thoughts?

Honda’s problem was parts supply after the Tsunami in Japan, followed by the severe flooding of Honda’s Thai factory to which a lot of parts production had been moved. Now Honda is back in full production both in Thailand and in the UK, and is building Civics at Swindon: www.honestjohn.co.uk/news/miscellaneous/2012-04/ho.../
