How can you disable speed camera alerts in a Nissan Note?

I understand that the French Authorities have banned the use of speed camera detectors and can impose fines up to £1250. I have recently become the owner of a Nissan Note with its fitted Nissan Connect Audio and navigation system. My question is, how can I disable the camera warning alerts?

This probably uses a development of the Carminat TomTom in Renaults and, when testing the very latest 2012 facelift Renault Megane, I was amused to find it showed up Spanish radar traps. I think it automatically disables the service when you reach France.
