Is the new Citroen C3 reliable?

I would like to part exchange my eight-year-old Citroen C3 Sensodrive for a six-month-old, 3500 mile Citroen C3 16v Exclusive diesel hatchback from my local Citroen dealer. He allowed £1700 on my C3. Is this a reasonable deal? My son says Citroens are not reliable, but this dealer has looked after me well and the car comes with a long warranty.

If your C3 has been reliable for eight years and the dealer has looked after you, then it refutes what your son is telling you about Citroen reliability. C3s have not been bad: www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/citroen/c3-2002/?sec...d
