I want to part-exchange my MGF for a RAV4 - what sort of deal should I negotiate?

Since moving to a very rural location I have come to the conclusion that my MGF does not suit these environs, so I have to bite the bullet and buy a "sensible" vehicle. I have found a 1996 Toyota RAV4 2.0-litre with 130,000 miles on the clock for £1995 from a well-respected secondhand dealer. I have very little money and have offered my 1999 MGF VVC 1.8i with 81,000 miles to him in part-exchange. Can you give me any idea of what I should expect re value of my car and negotiation on the Toyota?

The RAV4 is three times the price it should be, so the dealer had better be offering an excellent warranty and at least £1000 in part-exchange for your MGF.
