Why do presenters talk to the camera when driving?

Surely it is high time that the ridiculous, dangerous and presumably highly illegal practice of reporting to camera while driving on busy roads and motorways is brought to an end. No responsible, sensible driver should ever dream of doing this.

Do you mean presenters talking to camera while driving? That's why when I talk to the camera in a car I don't turn to camera. I continue looking at the road. It’s less friendly, but more survivable.
