Are Motorpoint's new cars too good to be true?

As a regular reader of Telegraph Motoring I often see Motorpoint advertising new cars with sometimes £3000 off, such as a new Peugeot 207CC at £13,899 when the full price would be approx £16,500. It looks to good to be true. Are they really new cars?

Motorpoint specialises in buying in bulk whenever and wherever it can. Some manufacturers still overproduce and the cars may briefly go onto rental fleets or be registered as demos. So the 12-reg Mondeo 1.6 Ecoboosts you saw in yesterday's 'Motoring' might not actually have many miles on them, but are secondhand and are tremendous bargains. They are excellent cars capable of 140mph and 43mpg when driven at 70-80mph. Who needs a diesel?
