Can you recommend quieter tyres for my 2005 Jaguar X-Type?

I have a 2005 Jaguar X-Type 3-litre 4-wheel drive with 14,000 miles since new. I am very pleased with the car, but the road noise is rather high and the tyres are coming up for replacement. I wonder if you can advise another make of tyre that might be quieter? The current tyres are Pirelli 225/45 ZR17 91Y on alloy wheels.

The problem is the profile of the tyres, and they get noisier as they wear down and more tyre is in contact with the road surface. I recommend the new Michelin Primacy 3. Otherwise, Goodyear Excellence.
