Which automatic cabrio?

We currently have an automatic 1.6 Mazda MX5. We need an automatic due to the wife being profoundly deaf. Sue has set her heart on a convertible with a powered roof.

We have discounted the Mercedes-Benz SLK which we quite like due to rust at the age we can afford.

We can spend around £3000 plus trade in - could you suggest any alternative that we should consider? Whilst we understand that we would have to spend on maintaining it we wish to minimize this as it only a fun car properly no more than 5000 miles per year.

The only obvious alternative is a Peugeot 206CC auto, but I wouldn't swap an MX5 for one. The MeganeCC and 307CC autos weren't much cop.
