Should the brakes wear so soon?

What should I expect to happen after owning a BMW which is just 12 months old which has been found to need all discs and pads renewing?

Mileage is 10,800 of which I have covered 3600. Did not use car for 7 days recently in snowy weather in Lincs Wolds. When I used for the first time after the snow the brakes/steering wheel juddered on braking. After one week of further use and no improvement I booked in to a BWM dealership where car was bought 6 months ago. The dealership have passed it on to BMW, they're concerned but say it is now up to BMW UK.

The discs are badly corroded on the inside of the disc on both nearside wheels and offside back wheel. The dealership are very tight lipped and have offered no real comment as yet.

Might be due to the car not having been used enough during periods when the roads were heavily salted. But still should not happen and I guess you will get replacements FOC.
