Ford Focus 2 facelift soundproofing

Hello,

can you please give me some info regarding the soundproofing of the post facelift Ford Focus mk2? I've driven the previous one (2004-2008) and it was very noisy, especially wind and tyre noise. I've heard that the soundproofing was improved, but I don't know how much better it is.

Thank you!

It's much better. In fact, it's fine. I ran a facelift 1.6TDCI Econetic for a year so write from experience. The pre-facelift Mk II was often criticised for road noise.
