Which tyres for a Nissan X-Trail?

What tyres should I get for my mark 2 X-Trail? Currently it's on Dunlops. In the past I have looked at surveys in Which? and Auto Express and chosen Continentals, mainly for performance in the wet. I can not find a similar survey for 4X4s. I do go off road.

Amazing front tyres have done 40,000 miles, compared to 20-25000 on previous cars (S60 and Alfa 156). Looks as if rears will go on for ever!

Grandtreks seem to suit X-Trails. See www.tyrereviews.co.uk Auto Express always favours Continental because Continental hosts its tyre tests. But Continentals usually come 2nd in Michelin tyre tests and sometimes even beat Michelins.
