Rattling fuel tank baffles

My 2003 SL350 has rattling baffles in the fuel tank. Mercedes will not repair FOC even though they lost a court case on this elsewhere in 2012. Can you help ?

It's a standard problem with the model, detailed in www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar MB does not have to help you fix a problem with a 9 year old car. Any liability it could possibly have had in law ended after 6 years.
