Should I sell? Will my DPF play up if I don't?

Should I sell now my lovely two-year old Fiat 500 Lounge diesel? Or should I wait for a big bill later on because of the diesel particulate filter, and its likelihood of failure?

Is there anything I can do to minimise large bills in the future? I mainly use my car for for long trips of 100 miles or so on A-roads. Not much use in London. Sometimes I can get 70mpg on single trip.
