Juddering clutch on 57-plate Astra

I am experiencing clutch judder in my 1.6 petrol Astra in 1st, 2nd and reverse gear. The car has done 41K miles and is a '57 plate. I bought it last Friday and have a 3 month warranty with the local dealer.

To get this sorted would you contact Vauxhall first?
Would this be covered under the car dealer warranty?
If none of these apply, how much will it cost to get sorted?

Symptoms are: unable to accelerate and change gear in 1st and 2nd, judders in reverse.

Down to the dealer who sold you the car. Nothing whatsoever to do with Vauxhall. Because it came with the car is is covered by the Supreme Court Ruling Clegg v Olle Anderson 2003. See: www.honestjohn.co.uk/faq/consumer-rights/
