I own a 2007 MINI Cooper D ... but what should I buy next?

I drive a Mini Cooper D (57-plate) and suffer from lower back pain (badly). Please recommend something with the the same handling/economy/fun to include all estates/mpvs. My budget is up to £20,000 new/used.

FIST 500 Abarth, standard engine, standard 16" wheels and tyres, not 17".

Paradoxically, FIAT and Abarth 500s have the best seats of any small car because the squabs are quite long and the rear side bolsters are relatively shallow.
