What's the 1.0 EcoBoost really like?

There's lots being said about the Ecoboost 1.0 and I wanted to know what REAL WORLD MPG figures it is achieving?

I have heard figures as low as 25mpg but in fairness that was a bunch of journos ragging it for an entire morning. Another quite well respected car mag said that it "Struggles to achieve its official fuel consumption figures."

For this to be highlighted I thought it must SIGNIFICANTLY under achieve, as almost ALL cars fail to meet the stupid "OFFICIAL" figures!

Look it up in www.honestjohn.co.uk/realmpg/ That will tell you what real drivers are averaging in the real world. I think currently mid 40s.
