Jaguar extended warranty - is it worth it?

My 2012 Jaguar XFd S is three-years old soon and I have been offered an extended warranty by Jaguar. My question is are there any known major failures with this car, in which case I should buy the warranty, or would I be better saving the money and having the car serviced by my local independent garage? There seems to be lots of problems for Land Rover models using the same engine.

Extended warranty recommended. DPF and EGR problems common. Make sure the warranty covers them.
