Do all cars use a DPF additive

I have a 1.9TDI Golf with about 112,00 miles on it which I use for towing a caravan and find it excellent. I will need to replace it and would prefer something of a similar size. I like diesels as they have plenty of torque and have been economical.

I am concerned about having a newer car with a DPF as I don't do high mileage. Do all modern diesels use DPF with fluid additives or do some manufactures manage without it?

No, most now use coated DPFs and DPFs generally have become more reliable. But all diesels have DPFs from January 2011.
