Changing to a petrol for short trips?

I have a Citroen C4 1.6 HDI+EGS done 15000miles at 5 years old, do I keep it or swap for a C4 petrol model? Car mainly used for short journeys (once a week occasional long runs every 3 months.

Move it on and swap for a car with a petrol engine.
