Tyres for comfort

As I get older I notice every bump and grind along the road. I love my X-Trail petrol T spec, but wonder could you recommend tyres for comfort?

T Spec usually means big diameter 17" wheels and relatively low profile tyres. To improve the ride comfort you need to go to 16" wheels with 215/65 R16 tyres, or even to 15" wheels with 215/70 R15 tyres, but the 16s should be enough.
