Starting problems on a Citroen C3 - can you help?

When I use the car, I park up and after a while I go back to the car to go home, I start it up and after 10 seconds it cuts out.

I have trouble starting it, but after a while it starts up, but the people I bought the car from say they can't find the problem. Can you help?

Well, rather than just trying different sensors etc, it may be best to get a diagnostic check carried out in the first instance, although it may cost £60-£70 it is better in the long run as it should identify the actual fault.
