Where do I complain about bad paint?

I brought a SEAT LEON nearly 3 years ago. In March my car had done 80,000 so the warranty had expired. I then had major problems with the car shaking - turned out the conrod was bent in the engine so had to have the engine re-built at a large cost to me. No help from SEAT

In June the paint has started to peel off the bonnet, the car is still not 3 years old, so again I contacted SEAT, to which there answer is the car is out of warranty due to the mileage, so can't help you. I have since had a couple of bodywork people look at this who have said this bonnet was ot painted in the factory but after and the paint hasn't adhered to the bonnet.

So I told SEAT this to which they replied even if it is our fault we still won't pay to repaint the bonnet so yet again no help.

My question is where can I escalate a complaint to and who can help me progress these issues as I am so disappointed with SEAT's lack of customer service. How can these things happen to a car les than 3 years old?

Get quotes for repainting and take the matter to the Small Claims Track of the County Court. You sue the dealer who sold you the car, not SEAT.
