Have supermarket fuels improved?

I subscribe to 'What Car'. The latest (July) edition has an impressive ad by Tesco singing the praises of the quality of their fuels, and I do note that Tesco have a close relationship with 'What Car'. In view of your criticism in the past of supermarket fuels, do you feel that they should still be avoided, or have they been improved?

Tesco Momentum 99Ron and Shell V-Power 99 Ron is probably the same refined petrol, but Shell V-Power has a completely different additive package. Obviously the relationship between What Car? and Tesco is a commercial one.
