Switching from a MINI to an Audi A2

I currently drive a 54 plate Mini Cooper (Black) top spec with chilli pack (59000 miles with full BMW service history).

Even though it is reliable, and the service intervals are good, it is costing me a fortune to run - Mainly new tyres (17" wheels), and petrol (Average around 33-34 mpg).

I am thinking of trading it in for a 54 plate Audi A2 (only 28000 miles) 1.4 petrol, which is on the market for just below 5k. The low miles and rust-proof body appeal to me. Do you think that this is a wise decision? and how much do you think I should command for my MINI price wise?

Not a good idea. Because although the A2 is a minor classic, parts (especially body parts) are very expensive and there are only a few places capable of fixing them. On top of that the 1.4 petrol engine in it is a truly lousy engine. One of VAG's worst ever.
