Buying reliable convertible - what would you recommend?

I bought an Audi TTS roadster 2 years ago to replace my wife's MR2 and as a 'fun' car for me. Unfortunately my wife has not taken to the Audi. I think its time to consider an alternative. I reckon its worth about £23k

Can you recommend an alternative for around the same money? Something a bit different but reliable; Soft top and maybe capable of occasionally seating 4; Fast when needed but capable of frugality; Comfortable on long journeys; Compact but with space for a week or two's luggage.

Right now with the prospect of Spring and Summer is the time to sell a roadster. Hard to beat a BMW E93 3 Series Convertible. Avoid Eos (leaks). Consider BMW 1-Series or Audi A3 convertibles.
