My wife is learning to drive again after a gap of 30 years or so (and then only drove in USA). She will only have an automatic licence and she likes the look of Mazda MX5. I believe that 2nd hand automatics are available.

An official MX-5 automatic was briefly available in the UK from 1998-1999. TW White & Sons used to import used RHD MX-5 automatics from Japan. While a 5-speed automatic has been officially available since the 2009 upgrade.
