Law unto himself

I wish to thank you and your legal advisors for the sound advice given me, re: a 535D delivered to my son on 2 July, breaking down on 17 July 2011. A special delivery letter was sent to the Dealer Principal who supplied the vehicle, along the lines you suggested.

I referred to the various Sale of Goods Act/s plus alterations, having requested a full refund. I have just had a letter from BMW UK saying they will buy the car back at the price my son paid for it. What an excellent result. BMW Group UK did the correct thing. (FYI, the car was in a BMW Dealer's workshop from 18th July 2011 until 5th August 2011 until it was pronounced OK). Thank you most sincerely for your excellent advice.
