What was the product you recommended for use on tyres in heavy snow?

I seem to recall that you recommended a product for driving in the snow. It was not chains and I think the word "glove" was part of the name. As winter is still upon us could you let me have the details?

Autosocks. (www.autosock.co.uk). They work by using fibres to pick up soft snow that than provided traction against the snow underneath. But can only be used on snow. On cleared asphalt they will get ripped to shreds.
