Will the Audi A6 S-line's 19-inch wheels cause an uncomfortable ride?

I inherited my current company car, an '09 plate Audi A6 S-line saloon running on 18-inch alloys and 40-profile tyres. I expected the suspension to be spine-smashingly hard, but have been pleasantly surprised and actually quite like it. I now need to replace it and am looking at another A6, but this time an estate. I fancy an S-line again, but am tempted by the S-line SE, which has extras such as heated seats. My only concern is that the S-line SE comes with 19-inch alloys and 35-profile tyres as standard. Will this cause a significant hardening of the ride, or will it be OK because it is standard equipment and will be tuned or adjusted accordingly?

Even suspension that can cope with 40-profile 18s has trouble with 35-profile 19s. I recommend you test drive one first and find some ridges and broken surfaces to drive it over. Also remember that 35-profile tyres on 19-inch rims are much more vulnerable to pothole damage.
