How does traction control affect tyre wear?

My new Suzuki Swift has Traction Control (switchable) - I have left it switched on - but am interested to hear your views on tyre wear.
Will it be increased by leaving TC switched on?

Pressing the button so the dash light comes on switches it off, not on. Won't affect tyre wear. You should only switch it off in ice and snow when it counters your attempts to control a skid.
