What are the potential problems of my A4?

I currently run an Audi A4 2.0 TDi 140 S-Line Avant 2007 with 45,000 miles which has been trouble free, other than a surprising thirst for oil.

After reading many of your recent articles where you suggest potential future problems with the DPF, oil pump and dual mass flywheel with this particular engine, would you recommend selling the car before long, rather than waiting another 10 or 20,000 miles before changing it. Does the thirst for oil indicate a particular problem?

Not surprising thirst for oil. It's quite common. I'd get rid before the real problems start.
