Verso beaters

After reading your reviews (and discarding What Car's views - can't believe Corolla Verso only gets 3 stars and is not in their any top ten mpv list) I have pretty much made up my mind to buy a used Toyota Corolla Verso 7 seater.

Are there any other used(upto 4-5 yrs old) 7 seater compact mpvs around which I should consider? Reliability and size(smaller the better, but with 7 seats) are main considerations, in that order.

The KIA Carens isn't bad. Belt cam, but good looking and usually excellent value.
