I need a new car with no boot lip and a flat floor, what are my options?

I am looking to buy (PCP) a new vehicle for my father. It needs a flat floor, with no boot lip, petrol and ideally automatic. What would recommend?

If a complete absence of a boot lip is required then we would suggest looking at van-derived cars such as the Ford Tourneo Courier and Connect or Volkswagen Caddy, which use their commercial roots to good effect. They have large tailgates which open to a completely flat floor with no boot lip, and all three are available with petrol engines and automatic transmissions.
