I'm returning my car at the end of its PCP - do I need to disclose damage I have had repaired?

I have a car on a PCP which is going back in March and I am getting a new one. I've had a scrape on the front bumper which I've had repaired. Do I have to make the company aware?

Your agreement should outline the terms and conditions in respect of the vehicle when it is returned, but typically there is an allowance for fair wear and tear. Anything outside of this would be considered as damage, and if you return the vehicle with damage you can expect to be charged for it. You have the option of having the repair carried out yourself, but you must ensure it is repaired to a professional standard by a reputable repair that includes a warranty.
