Generally speaking choosing a wax is more about how much you want to spend, how often you are prepared to apply it and the finish you are trying to achieve rather than the colour of your vehicle. We have found that Bilt Hamber Double Speed-Wax is an excellent choice, and while it requires a bit more effort in application than some alternatives the results are impressive.

Is it advisable to use car polish? I seem to recall reading somewhere that it is best to not use polish as it removes the paint and just use a good quality wax instead.

I have just bought a Ford Mondeo on a 60 plate. I'd like to give the paintwork a bit of a makeover - it's not bad but needs freshening up a bit. What do you recommend?
