What's the best way to give my paintwork a makeover?
I have just bought a Ford Mondeo on a 60 plate. I'd like to give the paintwork a bit of a makeover - it's not bad but needs freshening up a bit. What do you recommend?

Autoglym does a paint surface cleaner (that will also take off any previous paint treatments). And, if you really want to go to town, you can get an Autoglym clay bar kit. Finish off with Autogylm High Def wax. Each coat lasts around six months.

Which car wax would you recommended for:
1. Black car
2. Light grey car
Is it advisable to use car polish? I seem to recall reading somewhere that it is best to not use polish as it removes the paint and just use a good quality wax instead.
I have had a lot of time on my hands during the lockdown and decided to give the car a good clean. It's metallic black so shows up virtually any marks. No matter how careful I am, the bodywork has marks...
