How can we get a refund for our faulty motorhome?

I bought a brand new Motorhome in August 2025, it had quite a few faults - some minor but a few major as well. We told the dealer about these faults immediately and asked if we could have a replacement vehicle or a refund as we were very dissatisfied with the quality of the motorhome. The dealer refused a refund and asked for a considerable amount of money for a replacement. We rejected the vehicle within 30 days so were within the CRA 2015 timeframe but two months on we are still getting nowhere. We gave them an opportunity to repair all the faults but only some were done and other new issues have occurred since. I have spoken to CAB and actioned their initial advice but the dealer is being uncooperative. What are my options?

If you have not done so already we would suggest writing a letter, sent by Special Delivery and addressed to both the person you have previously been in contact with and the dealer principal, outlining what has occurred so far and that you are rejecting the vehicle. If this does not progress matters you should contact Trading Standards but legal action through the Small Claims Court may be required.
