What's the potential structural damage to a car from being hit by a farm trailer?

What is the potential structural damage from being hit at 45 degrees on the offside front wheel of a small SUV by a 3.5 tonne farm trailer? The car was pushed against a roadside earth bank with great force and then the trailer bounced off.

A thorough inspection is the only way to definitively determine the extent of the damage, as it will depend on the speed and height of the impact. It is possible that the steering and suspension components will have taken the brunt of the force, but it is also possible that the inner wing, strut tower or front chassis leg could be damaged by the impact.
