Why do the tyres on my Audi keep splitting?

The Dunlop tyres on my 2017 Audi A6 keep splitting on the internal rim. This is the seocnd set now and the car has only done 30,000 miles. Is this a fault on the Dunlop sport tyres?

We have seen a small number of reports from other Audi owners that have experienced similar issues with Dunlop tyres on their vehicles, so it is possible that it is a combination of car and tyre that is causing this to occur. You can approach the supplier of the tyres and ask them if they will complete a dealer return form in order that the tyres can be sent back to Dunlop for inspection, although not all tyre fitters will agree to do so. Another option is to have the tyres inspected by an independent body - we would suggest contacting the British Tyre Manufacturer's Association for an appropriate inspector near you, but this may involve some time and expense on your part. In the meantime we would suggest using an alternative brand.
