Will a replacement odometer affect the price I get when selling a car?

I replaced my instrument cluster and it reads 50,000 miles more than the car has done. I have supporting documentation. Would this make a difference to the price I would get for it?

This really does depend on the car and its age, but if you have supporting documentation from when the dials were changed over, then the value shouldn't be affected too badly, especially not on an older model. There are 'mileage correction' companies who will adjust the mileage to the correct level if you have documentary proof of the true mileage. However, we are not able to recommend any of these specifically.
